Fiji – Day 1 to 5
Day 1: Fiji
Sunday the 29th of July we got up and had breakfast, finished packing and went to Great Granny’s house. Mummy went to find her home but she lost it and left it at home. So Nanny had to drive back and get it while we had to get in another car to go to the airport because we had to be there at 11 o’clock. Nanny got back and some lunch with us. She asked the people for hot milk for $1.
We took a photo at a wall and then we went through security. We got on the plane for 3 hours. We had to drive to our hotel and OUR CAR WAS SO TINY! We hardly fit all our things in it. It took over an hour to get to the hotel and it was dark so we couldn’t see anything. Hannah spotted the moon was really red. It was a blood moon.
We couldn’t see our hotel until the morning. Our room was 24. Me and Hannah had pizza for dinner. We finally got to bed which is the good thing.
Day 2: Fiji
Monday the 30th of July. We got up and had breakfast. I had watermelon and pineapple with toast for breakfast. Then I went to collect some shells from the beach because our hotel is right next to the beach. And then we went snorkeling. We saw 3 giant starfish, Mummy saw a big spikey starfish. I had to go toilet and I stepped on something and my big toe was bleeding on my right foot. It bled a lot. I didn’t notice it was bleeding until I was on the toilet. Dad came with me and he helped me clean up the mess. We put a bandaid on. After we went snorkeling and cleaned ourselves up we went to a nature park. There was a gift shop at the front. I got to hold an iguana on my hands and then on my head. THEN I GOT TO HOLD A SNAKE! But it was so soft and weird. I mean smooth. We saw lots of Fijian birds and got to feed the turtles. But the turtles weren’t really hungry. I got to feed a guinea pig.
Mum and Hannah went on a big zipline and a big waterslide while me and Dad just chilled. I got to go on a waterpark and I went down the slide when the bucket tipped on my head. We had ice cream all together afterwards. Then we went back to the hotel. On the way back, Daddy’s house flew out the window and on the edge of the road. We all started cracking up. Me and Hannah bought pineapple and Mummy bought some vegetables at a stall on the side of the road.
Now we are chillaxing and writing on our blogs.
Tonight there is a crab race. I can’t wait to win.
Day 3: 31st July, 2018 Fiji
Today we left our hotel and went snorkeling on the coral coast. We went out to the reef and we saw lots of starfish and I got to hold a purple/blue one. I bumped my knee on a big rock and it started to bleed a bit.
When we had finished snorkeling we had lunch on the drive back to the airport. We had lunch at the Handicraft shop, there was lots of cool stuff and I got a new pair of reef shoes and some shorts and a t-shirt.
We then went into Nadi and we had a look at some shops. We went to the airport to drop off our tiny car, then we went to our new hotel, got our room key and had a look at our new room. It was delightful and we have our own bathroom and shower.
Day 4: 1st August 2018 Fiji
We got up and straight into the pool – it was quite cold but we got used to it. We had Waffles for breakfast. Then we went to the Marina with our Friends to have some lunch and go shopping.
We had pizza for lunch – 1 side Hawaiian and 1 side Tandoori. It was nice.
We then went food shopping for dinner at the market. We then came back to our Hotel on the Bula bus.
Me and my sister went to kids club – we had a running race – played hide n seek and ball tag and ball-rush, It was fun.
We then went swimming in the big pool with giant turtle and then we went in the spa. It was nice and warm in the Spa. We then came back and had some dinner, we had pasta and sausages with salad and chippies and dip. We then watched a movie while mum and dad played a game.
Day 5: 2nd August 2018 – My Birthday
Today it was my 8th birthday. I got up, had breakfast, chilled out on my iPad for a while. Mummy made me a hot chocolate and we buyed the movie Sponge Bob Square Pants. After the movie we went to the market and we got invited to a bonus market with lots of jewelry and we buyed something. It was a turtle and I got my name carved on it. We went to the food market and buyed some pineapple, watermelon, and lettuce. We rode on the bus to Nadi and back. The bus driver didn’t even shut the door on the ride back. Then we came back to our hotel and jumped in the pool and I did some diving and some swimming. I swimmed all the way to the other side of the pool. We had fun on Mr turtle. He’s a floaty. We had butter chicken and sausages with salad for dinner. I vacuumed it up like a squirrel running up a tree. Isaac and Lucy gave me a present.
Some men sang 2 songs – you are my sunshine and happy birthday to me on their guitars. I ran away because I was embarrassed.
Then we had a cake. It was black forest and I vacuumed that up too. I was super hungry.
Isaac and Lucy went home after dinner. Then me and Mummy dropped off the lighter that we borrowed for the candle. Then Mummy asked if I wanted to go to the Port and we went on the Bula bus. We saw Isaac and Lucy walking home to their hotel.
We saw fairy lights. When we got there we saw fire dancing and some girls did poi dancing with fire. Then me and Mummy went to some shops and buyed me a new hat a necklace that had a turtle on it. Then we went back on the Bula bus. We got to our hotel and we writing this blog post for you.
